Caring For Ebony Wood

When ebony wood is exposed to dry air for a long period of time it can begin to develop small cracks. One of the things that works well to prevent this is a normal shoe polish of the same color. Many people have tried using the typical spray polishes, but that does not work because there is not enough moisture in them. Shoe polish has plenty of moisture in it and can also be buffed to a beautiful shine. You may also want to try a high quality wood polish, but be sure to stay away from the spray polishes.
